Current version 2.17.3

2.17.316 October 2026

Your day and team, together

A redesigned Home, Smart Hub commands and connected people workflows. This update is published for Android and Linux; Windows and macOS downloads remain at 2.16.3.

  • Home puts the attendance timer, day agenda, selected-city weather and shortcuts together. Weather and Prayer have their own hubs.
  • Smart Hub has results, quick actions, history and keyboard shortcuts. AI Hub uses your configured provider and existing permissions.
  • People workflows include delegation, thanks, one-to-ones, goals, learning and an organization chart with PNG export. Anonymous Pulse trends require at least five answers.
  • Employment letters preserve their facts at issue and support public verification. Policy PDFs open in the embedded reader; hosts can respond to visitor arrival cards in chat.
  • Report exports open an options dialog before the native Save picker. Material calendars and scrolling dialogs keep the heading and actions in view.
  • GPS check-in and check-out require fresh trusted phone proof. Employer-enabled rotating door codes offer another Company check-in path. Desktop PIN approval is limited to eligible actions.
  • Groups have dedicated details and avatars. Search can return permitted PDF page content; transcription requires participant consent and configured services.
  • Own finalized payslips depend on Payroll integration. Finance workbook export requires a current explicit grant. Dawamee approves expenses; Payroll handles payment.
  • Gym and Snacks join the break reasons. Desktop PIN unlock accepts Enter, and Ctrl+L locks an app that already has a PIN.

Hubs with a purpose, AI you choose

Every hub tile now shows what it is for. Companies pick their own AI provider and model, and Payroll decides who may use it. Check-in is confirmed on the new backend.

  • Smart hub, AI workspace and News stand out as featured cards, and every other hub has its own look and icon.
  • Each company sets up its own AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or a compatible service) and model in Settings. API keys are stored encrypted and can only be written, never read back.
  • Payroll decides which employees may use AI. Access is off by default and a manager reviews each grant.
  • On the desktop, AI can edit text files in one folder you choose. You approve the folder, the provider and every change before anything is saved.
  • Installers for Windows, macOS and Linux, and the Android app, were built and checked for this version.

The workspace release

Dawamee grows from attendance into a full team workspace: hubs, a daily timeline, timesheets, tasks and your own company mailbox and drive.

  • Hubs gather everything in one board, and Today shows your day as a timeline.
  • Timesheets, a team calendar, shifts, weekly hours and attendance exports.
  • Tasks and projects, focus sessions and prayer times.
  • Channels, people and profiles, news and surveys, and an Omail mailbox on your company's own mail server.
  • A shared Drive, billing for companies, and self-hosting for companies that run their own Dawamee server.
2.14.x7 to 13 October 2026

Calls, standups and the desktop app

The 2.14 releases (2.14.0 to 2.14.7) built up the desktop app and the daily rhythm of the workday.

  • Voice and video calls, including group calls, and a desktop app that pairs with your phone.
  • Missed standups now warn you, and managers receive an email when a standup is missed. Standup history is kept.
  • Medical reports on leave requests and file uploads in chat, plus richer messages and files on the desktop.
  • A desktop command center, fixes to Windows start-up, and native builds for Mac.
